As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, included in its strategic corporate project named « Performance Program 2025, » SNPC is committed to contributing to environmental preservation, particularly through actions aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.

To this end, SNPC entered into a partnership on September 21, 2023, in Brazzaville with the FRMC Group, which has expertise in the design, creation, operation, and management of forest and agroforestry plantations.

In front of the invited Congolese press and a group of SNPC employees who attended the event, Mr. Maixent Raoul OMINGA, Director General of SNPC, and Mr. Bernard Cassagne, President of the FRMC Group, signed the agreement.

Scheduled over a ten-year period, the Eco Zamba project aims to create a forest and agroforestry plantation, a natural carbon sink, covering 50,000 hectares in the Plateaux Batéké region.
